I have learned how to communicate with people and motivate them in order to get the best out of everyone. Hummingbird invests a lot in people’s development. Being part of a team is one of the most important aspects of this job, we are a family and not just a team. The staff parties are the best!

I enjoy sharing my knowledge and what I have learned over my years at the bakeries with new team members starting out. The biggest reward has been friendship. I have made long term friendships through The Hummingbird Bakery which I still cherish now. It’s a lovely environment to work in (I mean, cakes everywhere!) – just go with the flow and you will blossom!
