We appreciate London’s annual Pride celebrations will be a very different experience this year, but we wanted to make sure love, equality and LGBTQ+ visibility are here to stay!
The Hummingbird Bakery is proud to support akt in the fight against LGBTQ+ youth homelessness for the third year running with our special Pride Cupcake this year. From each charity cupcake sold from Thurs 25th June – Sunday 28th June, 50p will be donated to akt.
Find out more about the important work akt does to help support LGBTQ+ young people facing homelessness and donate to their Room For Love summer campaign here.
Each Red Velvet Pride Cupcake is made with a deep red vanilla sponge baked with a hint of cocoa and covered in a smooth cream cheese frosting swirl. We’ve handmade edible sugar fondant rainbows and scattered a sprinkling of rainbow nonpareils as a finishing touch. Every last one is baked with love!
Vegan and Made Without Gluten Pride Cupcakes
No dairy? No problem! These limited-edition Pride Cupcakes will also be available in Vegan or Made Without Gluten options (not certified as gluten-free, as they are made in kitchens that handle gluten). The Vegan version is made with plant-based ingredients and our Made Without Gluten cupcake is baked using Doves Farm gluten-free ingredients. We promise they taste just as good as the original recipe.
