  • Sep 2012 - The Hummingbird Bakery’s first international branch opened in The Dubai Mall in September 2012 as part of a franchise agreement with Daud Arabian.
  • Sep 2012 - Plans are in place to launch at least 20 new Hummingbird Bakery branches across the Middle East over the next 10 years.
  • Sep 2012 - The Hummingbird Bakery opened its most recent London branch in Islington, just eight months after its previous branch launch in Spitalfields.

Emma joined The Hummingbird Bakery in March 2010 to head up the product development team. During her time with the company she has been responsible for creating more than 50 new cupcake flavours and other popular products. She has also designed and overseen the delivery of the bakery’s in-house training programme, which to date has trained over 70 bakers and cake decorators.

Emma is a fully qualified chef with a wealth of experience in product development. Her passion and unique skills lie in creating exciting flavour combinations. Prior to joining The Hummingbird Bakery, Emma held roles in product development for companies including Marks & Spencer, Digby Trout Restaurants and Admirable Crichton.
