The Hummingbird Bakery at Latitude Festival

As the fun-filled festival season continues, our bakery-on-wheels camps out in Henham Park in Suffolk to bake fresh at Latitude 2012.
We must admit cupcakes are not exactly the first thing that springs to mind when thinking of music festivals. But since rocking up to several fields this summer, we’re enjoying seeing the surprised looks on the faces of festivalgoers who know us better as ‘that cupcake bakery’ or ‘those cookbooks’!
But thanks to the very nature of our moveable little mobile bakery, we’re looking forward to turning up in yet more improbable places to bake fresh cupcakes (in real ovens, the works!). Next stop on our quest to bake cupcakes for one and all is the ever-outstanding Latitude Festival.
Nestled in the grounds of Henham Park, several stages will be bursting with musical brilliance as Latitude brings together sensational acts like Bon Iver, Metronomy, Elbow, Laura Marling, Ben Howard and Paul Weller as well as comedy from the likes of Jack Dee and Tim Minchin.
Meanwhile, the smell of fresh cupcakes rising in the oven will be filling the air as we share our tastebud-tingling line up of Red Velvet, Chocolate, Vanilla and Carrot Cake Cupcakes. And there’s no such thing as roughing it with freshly brewed Italian barista coffees onboard – we’ll most definitely be glamping!
