The Easter holiday is beckoning and chocolate goodies are in abundance. The Hummingbird Bakery is no exception this year as we prepare our Easter cake collection, which includes our super chocolatey triple layer cake. We dropped by one of our bakeries to see the finishing hand decorations of this spectacular seasonal treat.
Start with three layers of freshly baked chocolate sponge and a tub of wickedly delicious chocolate buttercream frosting…
Smarten up the sides with our signature stripes…
Just a little swirl in the centre…
You could eat it just as it is! But some pretty hand decorations will be worth the wait…
A steady hand is needed for a hand piped ‘Happy Easter’…
